Adam Malnove Memorial Psi Beta Endowed Scholarship

Adam Malnove was president of the Psi Beta Chapter at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ from 2008– 09. He set an example for others through his leadership, research, service, and scholarship. Adam passed away unexpectedly in 2017. The Adam Malnove Memorial Award is how our Psi Beta chapter acknowledges ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´'s most outstanding psychology student(s) each year.

Alvin M. Lang Endowed Scholarship

Dave Lang, a longtime trustee for the South Orange County Community College District, established this scholarship in honor of Alvin Lang, a man who had a profound and lasting impact on his life. Alvin strongly believed in the transformative power and importance of education, viewing it as a foundation for personal growth and opportunity. Through this scholarship, Dave Lang seeks to carry forward Alvin’s legacy by supporting students in their pursuit of higher education and encouraging them to achieve their fullest potential.

ASÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Osher Endowed Scholarship

In May 2008, the Bernard Osher Foundation made a historic gift of $25 million to the California Community College system to provide matching funds to encourage community colleges to create endowed scholarships for their students. ASÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ leaders saw this as a unique opportunity to create a scholarship that would support ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ students in perpetuity.

Assistance League of Irvine Endowed Scholarship

Since 1993, the Assistance League of Irvine (ALI) has been dedicated to advancing education and strengthening the community.  In 2007 the organization expanded its impact by establishing an endowed scholarship program to encourage students in their pursuit of higher education. By establishing this endowment, Assistance League of Irvine's support of education will continue in perpetuity. Through this scholarship we aim to provide support to re-entry students, guardian scholars and single parents as they pursue their academic dreams.

Associated Geology Student of ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was founded many years ago by ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ science faculty who wanted to encourage students to take geology classes. By focusing their studies on this major, students would gain a deeper understanding of the science that deals with the earth's physical structure and substance, its history, and the processes that act on it.

AT&T Endowed Scholarship

Established through the generosity of AT&T, this scholarship celebrates and lifts up students as they prepare for the next big step in their education. By offering financial assistance to dedicated individuals who have earned at least a 3.0 GPA and plan to transfer to a four-year university, this award helps open doors to lasting academic and career success.

Award for STEM Excellence - ASTEME

Roopa and Prabodh Mathur are both lifelong engineers who understand the dedication and grit required to excel in STEM careers. To pass along their passion for this field, they created the Award for STEM Excellence (ASTEME) to support students who are dedicated to lifelong learning and mission-driven innovation. As an ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ professor herself, Roopa Mathur is grateful to make this award available to hardworking students pursuing STEM majors.
