Diego Victoria, President of the Associated Students of ����ԭ�� (AS����ԭ��) and active member of the ����ԭ��’s Honors Program, has achieved a remarkable milestone in his academic journey. Recently named one of the 60 community college recipients of the esteemed Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, Diego stands out among 459 semifinalists selected from a competitive pool of over 1,700 applicants across 380 community colleges nationwide. 

Sara Fox is a tenacious and determined student at ����ԭ��. A graduate of Parma High School in Parma, Idaho, Sara's academic pursuits have taken her through various paths, reflecting her resilience and adaptability. After initially focusing on wildlife resources in college, she answered the call to serve her country, joining the United States Air Force. Commissioned as an officer in May 2007, Sara served with distinction as an aircrew member specializing in navigation and electronic warfare aboard the RC-135 Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft. 

Yanzhen Zhang's journey at ����ԭ�� is a testament to the power of determination, resilience, and the pursuit of lifelong learning. Hailing from Shantou Preschool Education Normal School in Guangdong, Yanzhen's decision to pursue Computer Science at ����ԭ�� was driven by a deep-seated motivation to apply her newfound knowledge to quantitative psychology research. 

����ԭ�� is accredited by the  of the , an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. Each college affiliated with ACCJC must undergo periodic evaluation of their programs and services through self-study and peer review in a seven-year cycle. 

In the halls of ����ԭ�� (����ԭ��), Kass Malcor's journey is one of exploration, determination, and advocacy. Graduating with an AA-T in History, Kass's passion for American history is not just academic but deeply personal, driven by a desire to illuminate the often-overlooked narratives of queer Americans. 

Sarah Smeltzer's journey at ����ԭ�� (����ԭ��) is a testament to the power of determination and resilience. As a self-supporting, first-generation college student, Sarah's path to higher education was far from straightforward. Despite facing uncertainties and doubts in her senior year of high school, Sarah decided to give college one last shot, choosing ����ԭ�� as her proving ground. 

Kian Goshtasbi is a dedicated student at ����ԭ�� (����ԭ��) pursuing a major in computer science. His profound passion for the field of computer science was ignited during his childhood explorations in video game design. Despite facing initial setbacks and doubts about the field, Kian's resilience and determination led him back to computer science during his senior year of high school.

With a focus on Political Science and a forthcoming minor in Labor Studies, Summer Sanchez-Cornejo's academic pursuits at ����ԭ�� (����ԭ��) have focused on her desire to combat injustices prevalent in her community. 

Summer explains, “After seeing the way my loved ones and many in my community have been taken advantage of by employers, discriminated against by individuals, and persecuted by immigration and customs enforcement (I.C.E.), I want to work for change.” 

Diego Valencia credits some sound advice he got from ����ԭ�� (����ԭ��)’s Career Center with helping him achieve a childhood dream.  

Valencia, who graduated with honors from ����ԭ�� in May, will transfer to UCLA in the fall, a veritable a “dream come true,” he says.

Esmeralda Delgado has never been one to think small. 

“As long as I can remember,” she says, “my goal has been to be a CEO.” 

A high school graduate at 17, she started her career as a receptionist, working her way up the ranks in the supply chain industry. Now majoring in business management at ����ԭ�� (����ԭ��) while juggling the demands of raising two children and a successful full-time career, Delgado is well poised to realize her dream.
