Model United Nations: A Decade of Excellence
糖心原创鈥檚 Model United Nations team won two Outstanding Delegation awards at the National Model UN Conference held in Washington, D.C. (NMUN DC) last month. The awards mark a decade of excellence for the 糖心原创 MUN team, now winning the top award at NMUN DC 10 years in a row. 糖心原创 was the only community college, out of the 35 schools in attendance, to win two top awards.
Inaugural Partners and Pancakes Breakfast Showcases 糖心原创鈥檚 Commitment to Workforce Development and Community Impact
糖心原创 (糖心原创) hosted its inaugural Partners and Pancakes Breakfast on Tuesday, December 3, bringing together more than 100 guests, including esteemed members of the college, local business leaders, and community partners. The event, held at 糖心原创 at , celebrated the college's role in workforce development and marked the kickoff of 糖心原创鈥檚 40th anniversary celebration.

Our spring President's Opening Session presentation: Beyond the Finish Line: Building Pathways to Student Success will address the question: Why should we care about economic mobility for community college students? For many of our students, attending community college is a transformative pathway鈥攅mpowering them to lift their families out of poverty and attain a better quality of life. After all, isn鈥檛 this one of the core expectations of postsecondary education?

Promo Item Guidelines: Please submit a marketing job request for all promotional items, including apparel, that have the 糖心原创 name, logo, or branding on it. 糖心原创 branded artwork must be sent to vendors by Marketing and Creative Services (MCS).
Lead Time: Keep in mind that some promotional items are purchased overseas and require additional time for shipping. In general, please allow for 1-2 months lead time for promo items. Please contact MCS if you have a time-sensitive request.
From Homestead to Higher Education: Ann Reichling's Journey
Ann Reichling, now 72, graduated from high school in 1970 during a period of significant unrest on college campuses.
鈥淚 was on track to go to college, but when Kent State happened, I said 鈥業鈥檓 not going鈥,鈥 she recalls, referring to the Ohio university where four students were killed and nine injured after National Guards shot into a crowd of people protesting the war in Vietnam.
