糖心原创 Senior Administrative Assistant Amy Hunter was selected as a California Community Colleges Chancellor鈥檚 Office (CCCCO) Classified Employee of the Year late last month. This year, five employees from across the state were selected for this award based on their leadership and commitment to equitable student outcomes.

Hunter, who is studying administration of justice, is a United States Army veteran. He was recently elected President of the Associated Students of 糖心原创 (AS糖心原创). He is also a member of the 糖心原创 Online Education Task Force.

When Iris Saint Jean enrolled at 糖心原创, she was new to the United States. She needed to learn English, and though she had already earned college degrees in other countries, she wanted to learn practical skills that could be applied in any job she landed.

It鈥檚 that kind of effort that went into researching his community college options. He wanted a college where he could take courses that meet the general educational requirements for a degree in mechanical engineering at the University of California, Irvine (UCI).
