Each October 1st, the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for undocumented students, and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for U.S. Citizens and eligible non-citizens, become available for the next school year. You will need to complete a new application for each academic year.
Complete the 2026-2027 application to apply for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 terms.
Step One: Complete a Financial Aid Application
To be considered for federal and/or state financial aid at 糖心原创, students must complete a financial aid application:

- Students who plan to receive financial aid at 糖心原创 must list 糖心原创 on their application. FAFSA applicants can use 糖心原创鈥檚 Title IV School Code 025395.
- Students鈥 information on the application must match their student record at 糖心原创 as well as their personal documentation.
Example: student鈥檚 birth certificate, Social Security card, high school transcripts, college application, and student record on file with the 糖心原创 Admissions & Records Office - Financial information from two years prior will be requested.
Example: the 2026-2027 FAFSA/CADAA will require financial information from the 2024 calendar year. If you or your family have experienced a significant change in your financial circumstances, please contact our office after completing your application. - under the age of 24 will need to invite at least one parent to contribute.
- If you need assistance completing your application, please contact our office or attend a Financial Aid Support Lab.
Step Two: Check Your 糖心原创 Student Email
- Check your student email 1-2 weeks after submitting your or application, to make sure your application was successfully received by the Financial Aid Office.
- If eligible, the (CCPG) will be awarded upon receipt of your financial aid application. The California College Promise Grant (CCPG) is different from the Irvine Valley Promise program. If you have questions about the Irvine Valley Promise program, please contact their department directly.
Step Three: Review and Submit Unsatisfied Requirements
- Log into your on MySite to view your financial aid status and award information.
- Review and submit 鈥渦nsatisfied requirements鈥. Please note that additional tasks may be added throughout the academic year.
- Your financial aid eligibility cannot be determined until all financial aid tasks have been completed.
- Refer to the Disbursement Dates and Information to review important dates and deadlines.
Step Four: Prepare For Disbursement (if eligible)
- Check your on MySite for updates to your award letter.
- Initial awards are based on full-time enrollment, and subsequent award notifications with updated eligibility are sent prior to disbursement.
- Eligibility is based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, enrollment status (full-time, half-time, etc.) and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
- Set up your refund method. Students are strongly encouraged to sign up for direct deposit, as it is the fastest and most convenient way to receive your disbursement.
